Dr. Ingram is not responsible for links to external web pages, sites, or publications that have changed or present inaccurate information at the time of review. These links and other “patient resources” provided on this website are provided as a service to help educate patients about general psychiatric conditions and in no way should be construed as treatment directions or recommendations for any individual person. The goal is that patients and their families will find this information useful when discussing issues with their mental health professional or other healthcare provider.

Patient confidentiality is important to us. Protected health information (PHI) will be maintained in a secure setting. Dr. Ingram uses Luminello, a user-friendly and HIPAA Compliant Electronic Medical Record (EMR). All forms or messages containing protected health information (PHI) will be sent through Luminello EMR and can be accessed through the Luminello patient portal. To access your unique patient portal through Luminello you must first receive an invitation email from Dr. Ingram. Call (213) 277-8372 for more information! After each visit, Dr. Ingram will document the encounter in Luminello. No protected health information will be disclosed to any entity without the written consent of the patient except in situations when federal or state law mandates disclosure of a patient’s protected health information. This will be reviewed at the patient’s first visit.

Please note that no person will be considered a patient of Dr. Michael T. Ingram, Jr., M.S., M.D. until after the initial visit.

INITIAL DEPOSIT: Beginning January 6th, 2021 a deposit of $100.00 will be required to reserve your initial consultation visit. This deposit will be refunded ONLY IF cancellations are made prior to 72 hours of your scheduled visit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of your initial consultation visit will result in forfeit of the initial deposit. Please note that rescheduling an initial consultation visit will not result in forfeiting of the initial deposit if you keep the appointment. That is, once you reschedule an initial visit you will not be refunded the initial deposit of $100.00 if you decide to cancel the appointment at a later date.


We understand life happens. If you need to cancel your appointment, please inform Dr. Ingram immediately by calling (213) 277-8372 or by using the Luminello patient portal. 

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $100.00. Not showing up to a scheduled appointment will result in a No Show Fee of $100.00. Repeated cancellations or no shows will result in a fee up to the full price of the scheduled visit. 


If using Telepsychiatry services, electronic prescribing is available for NON-CONTROLLED medications. In compliance with the Ryan Haight Act, controlled substances may only be prescribed electronically after an in-person evaluation. If Dr. Ingram recommends a controlled substance during a Telepsychiatry visit, a written prescription may be mailed to you directly.

All forms, including payment, will be discussed at your first visit!

Please note that the Luminello EMR is HIPAA compliant and should be used for communicating with Dr. Ingram once care is established or for transferring information containing protected health information (PHI).

All services provided by MTI Psychiatry, Inc. [Dr. Michael T. Ingram, Jr., M.S., M.D.] follow the terms of the Notice of Privacy Practices.  This notice, in compliance with federal privacy regulations, describes how information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information.  Dr. Ingram will review this with you at your first visit.
