Insurance is not accepted at this time. Dr. Ingram strives to provide the highest quality of individualized treatment for you without the constraints associated with insurance companies. However, upon request, Dr. Ingram can provide you with a bill for services which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Dr. Ingram does not communicate with insurance companies directly. Communication with insurance companies, including reimbursement questions, will be the responsibility of the patient. 

Rates vary depending on the session type and session length.  Typical range: $100 – $500 per session.  

Dr. Ingram understands that high quality individualized mental health care can be expensive. Because Dr. Ingram doesn’t accept insurance, he does offer sliding scale and payment plans upon request.

Yes, Dr. Ingram has an up-to-date DEA License and is able to prescribe all psychiatric medications if clinically indicated based on a thorough psychiatric evaluation.

Dr. Ingram uses HIPAA compliant electronic prescribing software and is able to prescribe to most pharmacies. If a requested pharmacy does not accept electronic prescriptions through this software and a medication is NOT a controlled medication, Dr. Ingram will work with your requested pharmacy to best meet your needs.

In compliance with federal and state law (see Ryan Haight Act), if a medication is a controlled substance, Dr. Ingram will not be able to prescribe these medications electronically. Online prescribing of controlled substances will be available ONLY after an in-person medical evaluation. Alternatively, if a controlled substance is medically indicated and an in-person medical evaluation has not been performed, Dr. Ingram will discuss alternative options with you during your visit. 

No medication will be prescribed until payment has been received.
