Dr. Ingram is a board certified psychiatrist with expertise in a variety of psychiatric disorders. He has particular interests in Neuropsychopharmacology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of both Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in Adults.
Dr. Ingram is an advocate for the destigmatization of psychiatric disorders and has additional training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (formerly Psychosomatic Medicine), a sub-specialty aiming to bridge the gap between mental and physical health. Dr. Ingram spends part of his clinical time as a Psychiatric consultant in medical hospitals and provides recommendations for appropriate management of patients suffering from Dementia, Delirium, Catatonia, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Dr. Ingram is actively involved in medical education and founded/created Simply Psych EDU: Psychiatry and Neuroscience, an educational website and mental health blog focusing on topics related to Psychiatry, Psychology, Psychopharmacology, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and the clinical Neurosciences.
In his free time, Dr. Ingram enjoys spending time in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and their two adorable cats, Jax and Marvel.
